Gildas Quartet                                10th Feb  Luton Sixth Form College Map

This foremost British string quartet makes a most welcome return to Luton. The Dissonance is one of Mozart’s most loved quartets, its elegant classicism a perfect foil for the highly personal narrative of the turbulent second quartet by Janáček. Beethoven’s late quartet in A minor completes this programme of some of the greatest chamber music ever written. The evening will include a performance element featuring Luton Sixth Form College’s dance students.

‘Stunning piece, exquisite playing, beautiful video. We're running out of superlatives!’
