Ian Shaw

‘One of the finest singers in contemporary music.’ All About Jazz (US)

For this concert the Luton Music will once again be guests at Luton 6th Form College. Alongside a typically eclectic set of songs – old, new and unexpected – this legendary British pianist and singer will invite some of Luton’s most talented young jazz musicians to accompany him on the platform. A jazz quartet from the Hills Road 6th Form College in Cambridge will also be coming along to join the fun.

‘…the gifted, technically awesome and theatrically witty singer puts his improvisational skill and gambler's instinct to work on everything.’ Guardian

Ian Shaw – jazz vocalist and pianist
