Sir Richard Stilgoe                                  26th Oct 2020  - Zoom Talk

Sir Richard Stilgoe, eminent lyricist, performer and broadcaster, will talk about his life and most particularly his involvement with the Orpheus Centre.  Set up in 1997 this inspirational faculty enables young people with physical and mental challenges to express themselves through the performing arts. As Richard will reveal, the universal language of music plays a fundamental part in this process, encouraging an indisputable sense of well being. It will be a pleasure to hear this fluent raconteur chart the history of this remarkable project and I dare say along the way we may also be entertained with anecdotes about Nationwide, Countdown and The Phantom of the Opera!
